Keep a Child Alive, South Africa Project

Keep a Child Alive is a non-profit organization Co-founded by Alicia Keys, KCA is committed to empowering children and young people with the necessary resources, confidence and opportunities to reach their full potential and live healthier, happier lives.

The YAY foundation will be creating and presenting a week-long program to in July of 2023 to encourage young people in South Africa to help them gain confidence and feel empowered in challenging circumstances.

Flathead Valley Montana Veteran's Project June 2023

Flathead Valley, Montana has one of the highest suicide rates in the nation. According to the Flathead County 2019 Youth Risk Behavior Survey, during the 12 months before the survey, 12.19% of Flathead County students in grades 9 through 12 had made one or more suicide attempts, and 11.7% of 7th and 8th graders.

The YAY foundation will be provided a weeklong program in June of 2023 to encourage the participating members of the community to create a vision for their lives that feels worth living for, to instill a sense of empowerment for them, and connect the clients with like-minded individuals for an increased sense of community.

8 Days of YAY! for Special Olympics of
Southern California

The YAY! Foundation created and presented “8 Days of YAY” to our Special Olympics of Southern California Athletes in March of 2021. The wellness course is based on the idea of emotionally focussed living for a more joyful experience in life!

Engaging and hilarious, the program was a great success with many athletes reporting an increased sense of well-being and positive emotions.

Mesa County Colorado. Yay Journey Project

1 in 4 adults in Mesa County have symptoms of mental illness and/or substance abuse disorder. Shame and loneliness have been shown to be one of the leading causes of suffering among individuals experiencing mental health issues.

The YAY foundation provided a week-long program in December of 2022 to teach participants how to express themselves through the modality of comedy and create healing and meaningful connection with others in the community.

New Economics For Women, Holiday with a Heart Project

The Yay Foundation took the lead in event planning and gift gathering for Holiday With a Heart event for New Economics for Women for impoverished families in Los Angeles County.

The Yay Foundation procured over 200 gifts and toys and provided entertainment including DJs, dancers, volunteers, and party entertainment.
